Vaccination Service Terms & Consent
Service conditions, responsibilities and consent requirements for vaccination support.
Last updated: 12 August 2026
1. Who Provides the Service
Vaccination is administered by a BunoPets team member registered with the Animal Health and Livestock Service Professionals Council (AHLSPC).
Professional registration: Class C · Reg. 14761
The professional works only within the scope allowed by their registration, education, training and applicable Nepal law.
We do not describe this professional as a veterinarian unless that person is separately registered as a veterinarian under applicable law.
2. Dogs and Cats
BunoPets currently provides vaccination services for:
- Dogs
- Puppies
- Cats
- Kittens
Available vaccines and packages are shown on our vaccination page and are confirmed before vaccination.
The vaccine or schedule may depend on your pet's age, vaccination history, health and other relevant factors.
3. Before Vaccination
Before giving a vaccine, our animal-health professional may ask about:
- Your pet's age
- Previous vaccination
- Current illness
- Vomiting or diarrhoea
- Weakness or signs of fever
- Current medicines
- Previous vaccine reactions
- Known health problems
Please give complete and correct information.
We may also check the pet's general condition before vaccination.
4. When We May Postpone Vaccination
We may postpone or decline vaccination if:
- Your pet appears unwell
- A previous serious vaccine reaction needs further review
- Your pet cannot be handled safely
- Important health information is missing
- The vaccine is unavailable
- The vaccine seal, expiry or condition is not satisfactory
- There is concern about vaccine storage or handling
- The location is unsafe for the pet or our team
- Our animal-health professional believes vaccination should not proceed
If a previous serious vaccine reaction is reported, veterinary review may be required before vaccination.
5. Vaccine Handling
BunoPets obtains vaccines through veterinary suppliers.
Before administration, we check relevant information such as:
- Vaccine name
- Manufacturer
- Seal or vial condition
- Batch or lot number
- Expiry date
For home visits, vaccines are transported using a cold carrier or similar cold-storage method.
If we have reason to believe that a vaccine's storage or handling may have affected its condition, we will not administer it.
BunoPets does not sell these vaccines separately as retail products. They are provided as part of the vaccination service.
6. Home and On-Site Service
Vaccination may be available:
- At eligible locations in Kathmandu
- At a BunoPets service location where available
Home-service availability depends on location, schedule and operational conditions.
7. Safe Handling of Your Pet
Please help us keep your pet and everyone present safe.
If your pet is aggressive, extremely fearful or cannot be safely restrained, we may stop or postpone the service.
This is a safety decision and does not mean your pet has done anything wrong.
8. Animal-Health Guidance
Our registered animal-health professional may provide assessment or animal-health guidance only within the scope allowed by their professional registration, education, training and Nepal law.
Some conditions may need examination or treatment by a registered veterinarian.
If we believe veterinary care is needed, we may recommend that you contact a qualified veterinarian.
9. After Vaccination
We may observe your pet for a reasonable period after vaccination.
Reactions can sometimes happen after vaccination.
Please follow any after-care instructions provided to you.
If your pet develops a serious or rapidly worsening reaction, contact a qualified veterinarian or veterinary emergency service immediately.
Do not wait for BunoPets support before seeking urgent veterinary care.
BunoPets may help with coordination where reasonably possible, but our support service is not a replacement for emergency veterinary care.
10. Vaccination Does Not Guarantee Complete Protection
Vaccination helps reduce the risk of infectious disease.
No vaccine can guarantee that every animal will have complete protection.
Protection may depend on factors such as the pet's age, health, vaccination history, vaccine used and completion of the appropriate vaccination schedule.
11. Vaccination Records
BunoPets currently provides a physical vaccination record.
Where relevant, the record may include:
- Pet name
- Species
- Breed
- Age
- Owner name
- Vaccine name
- Vaccination date
- Batch or lot number
- Expiry information
- Next due date
- Professional registration information
Please keep this record safely.
12. Vaccination Reminders
BunoPets may contact you about an upcoming vaccination or booster using:
- SMS
- Phone
Service reminders are different from promotional marketing messages.
You can ask us to stop optional reminders.
13. Price
The applicable vaccination price will be shown or confirmed before the service.
We will not add an undisclosed service charge without informing you.
14. If Your Pet Is Not Fit for Vaccination
If our animal-health professional decides after assessment that your pet should not be vaccinated for health reasons, we will postpone the vaccination.
Where the vaccine is not administered for this reason, BunoPets does not charge the vaccination fee for the unprovided vaccination.
15. Home Visit That Cannot Be Completed
If our team reaches your Kathmandu location but vaccination cannot be completed because:
- You decide not to continue
- Your pet cannot be safely handled
- You are unavailable
- The service cannot proceed for a reason caused by the booking party
a Rs500 home-visit charge may apply.
This charge does not apply where BunoPets itself decides vaccination should be postponed because the pet is medically unsuitable.
Any applicable visit charge should be communicated before the appointment.
16. Cancellation
You may cancel a home vaccination booking before our animal-health professional arrives at the service location.
There is normally no BunoPets cancellation fee when the appointment is cancelled before arrival.
If BunoPets cancels a prepaid vaccination that is not provided, the applicable prepaid amount will be refunded.
17. Rescheduling
We may recommend rescheduling if your pet is unwell or vaccination should not proceed.
BunoPets may also need to reschedule because of vaccine availability, travel conditions, safety issues or other operational circumstances.
We will contact you where possible.
18. Owner Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Give accurate information about your pet
- Tell us about previous vaccine reactions
- Tell us if your pet is sick or taking medicine
- Share previous vaccination records where available
- Help keep the pet safely restrained
- Follow reasonable after-care instructions
Please tell us if anything important changes before the appointment.
19. Consent to Vaccination
Booking a vaccination appointment is a request for the service.
Before the vaccine is administered, you must allow the service to proceed.
By confirming that the vaccination may proceed, you confirm that:
- You are the pet's owner or are authorized to make decisions for the pet
- The health information you provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge
- You had an opportunity to ask questions
- You understand that vaccination has benefits and possible risks
- You understand that vaccination cannot guarantee complete protection
- You authorize the registered BunoPets animal-health professional to administer the agreed vaccine
- You understand that urgent reactions may require immediate veterinary care
- You agree that BunoPets may keep appropriate vaccination and service records
You may withdraw consent before the vaccine is administered.
Any applicable home-visit charge under this Policy may still apply if our team has already arrived.
20. Privacy
BunoPets may keep information needed to provide and document the vaccination service, including pet details, vaccination history and relevant medical notes.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and privacy requests.
